Our 2019 Gala Event on November 9 will celebrate 11 years of giving back to our community and our very special guest speaker will be Coach Lou Holtz. Coach Holtz has been a longtime friend of our family and coached alongside our Dad, Rick Forzano, who we lost in January of this year. Dad was the driving force behind the founding & success of the Whitney DeCarlo Foundation and many will recall the energy and enthusiasm he brought to each and every event! In Dad's memory we felt it fitting to have the man, Coach Lou Holtz, who began the first decade of "Passion with Purpose Gala" in 2008, begin the second. Please come enjoy this evening with us.

Lou Holtz is the only coach in history of college football to take six different teams to a bowl game, win five of them and have four different college teams ranked in the final Top 20.

Coach Holtz maintains an extensive speaking schedule and has been considered among the greatest speaking legends.

Lou is an exceptional football coach whose career and statistics speak for themselves. But what is most significant about this man is his honesty, integrity and living a life he preaches. Not only is he a one of a kind football coach but life coach as well. With humor he shares his philosophy on life through his experiences, challenges, failures, successes and his faith. Ben Franklin said "Well done is better than well said". This is Coach Holtz.

Passion With Purpose

The Whitney Lee DeCarlo Foundation Inc. is a dedicated group of community volunteers joined together for the purpose of raising funds for local non-profit 501c(3) community organizations. Our focus is providing direct outreach services for at risk children and families in Southwest Orange County Florida.

The Foundation was formed in October of 2008 to memorialize the life of Whitney Lee DeCarlo who was tragically killed in an automobile accident at the age of 23. Our organization strives to keep Whitney’s demonstrated passion for helping others alive through a variety of fundraising activities and distribution of those funds to local community organizations.
